A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT:
Dear Mariners Community,
I am so honored and thrilled to serve as your PTA President this year. I have a deep love for our school and truly value the sense of connection and community that makes Mariners so special. I believe the heart of a great school is its community, and that is something I am committed to nurturing. My goal is to create meaningful opportunities for families to connect, strengthen relationships throughout our school community, and make sure our teachers, staff, and students feel supported every step of the way. I want our PTA to be a place where everyone feels welcome, where we celebrate what makes our school special, and where we work together to make Mariners an even better place for our children.
Mariners PTA is committed to providing a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and we are dedicated to working with parents, teachers, and administrators to make that happen.
The mission of Mariners Elementary PTA, established April 19, 1988, is to positively impact the lives of all children and families. We will:
- Engage families and the community in the education of our children. We believe that when families and the community are involved in a school, it creates a stronger learning environment for all students. We will do this by providing opportunities for families to volunteer, donate, and participate in school activities.
- Advocate for the needs of our students. We will work with the school administration to ensure that our students have the resources they need to succeed. This includes advocating for high-quality instruction, safe and healthy facilities, and equitable access to opportunities.
- Support the teachers and staff at our school. We believe that our teachers and staff are the key to our students’ success. We will support them by providing resources and recognition.
We believe that by working together, all students will reach their full potential.
